Responsibilities include the ability to:
Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with copywriters, strategists, and whoever is in the room
Produce layouts based on strategic creative visions including sketches, storyboards, social media graphics, package design, web, print, digital ads, tradeshow/events, sales collateral, presentations, emails, and ransom notes.
Take work from concept to final execution within (sometimes tight) deadlines
Understand the intricacies of marketing initiatives, the importance of strategic positioning, and the value of market segmentation
Stay abreast of trends, technology, and techniques of design, graphics, layout, typography, photography, and interactive while and maintaining best practices
Assist in meetings with clients and account managers to discuss the campaign objectives and requirements
Help achieve and maintain an efficient workflow within our company
Evaluate designs and ideas with the ability to give and receive feedback well and move forward with the team
Requirements:
Successful background as an Art Director (3+ years preferred)
Experience with logo design, typography, web layout and UX, print production, image selection, and package design
Proficient use of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and other visual design and wire-framing tools

Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
Relevant education or training
Thorough knowledge of the rules (and knowing when breaking them is acceptable)
